Eclimo Sdn Bhd and Eclimo Marketing Sdn Bhd are 100% Malaysian and were founded in June 2008 to help forward Malaysia in the global race for green power technology application superiority, especially in the transport sector. After two years of intensive research and tests, they are ready to roll out its first generation of 100% electricity-powered motorcycles (e-bikes) and scooters (e-scooters). Eclimo is so confident with its home grown e-technology that it is preparing to export its e-bikes and e-scooters to Japan among other high-tech countries. There is no better way to prove Malaysia's superiority in e-technology than to challenge and conquer Japan's world-leading electric vehicle market.
Eclimo's headquarters cum R&D centre is located on Penang Island's Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone. This is where our leading e-technology is being researched and improvised daily in our quest to be a global leader in green power. Our design house is in Tokyo, Japan. For convenience, our business office is located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan. Our warehouse for exports is located in the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ). The assembling activities for bigger e-bikes will be in Penang. The Eclimo Penan and two other new models to be launched soon will be manufactured and assembled in NAZA Bikes Sdn Bhd, Shah Alam, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
The vision of Eclimo's founders is simple. A superior green power technology is the only way for the future and to propel Malaysia into a global leader in helping to green our precious and fragile Earth. Moreover, the environmentally unfriendly fossil fuel is a dwindling commodity. Therefore, Eclimo was born to exclusively focus research on alternative environmentally friendly sources to power motors and engines. Where else better to launch this challenge than the heritage and environmentally-sensitive Penang Island which is also dubbed the Pearl of the Orient.
